Our doorsets are made to order on a project-by-project basis, allowing us to manufacture and supply as per demand. We aim to make the entire process as simple and practical as possible, offering solutions in align with Building Regulations including performance requirements, and aligning design and quality with your specification and budget. We use sustainably sourced and carefully selected materials and finishes, together with innovative technology and dedicated craftmanship to produce and deliver quality standard doorsets.

Read moreA full set of drawing detailing our range of standard door leaf and frame options has been developed and these are available in both PDF and CAD format and we are currently working on BIM versions of these. The usual process is for us to manufacture doorsets to the architects details however if our standard types are used we purchase the materials more competitively and the production is simpler and this results in significant savings being achieved.

Sustainable sourcing is a vital policy for us, with our timber doors being sourced from either FSC or PEFC certified forests. We work hard to ensure we know exactly where piece of wood we use comes from, preventing sourcing from illegal forests and guaranteeing you peace of mind.
Our environmental policy supports good forest management from our timber suppliers wherever possible. Reduces waste by maximising the use of raw timber in the construction of our products. We use timber substitutes such as medium density fibreboard (MDF) wherever possible, without reducing the performance or appearance of our products. Our efforts have resulted in a reduction of solvent use during the manufacturing process by switching to water based stains and paints, where possible.
Aspex Doorsets are working with BM Trada to become a Q-Mark certified supplier of doorsets and this is the ultimate endorsement of a products performance. BM TRADA Q-Mark is regarded as one of the most rigorous certification processes available for construction products and is recognised as such throughout the industry. As part of the process of acquiring BM TRADA Q-Mark certification the factories that we utilise to manufacture our doorsets are audited. The fire door certification provides independent reassurance that our doorsets are manufactured to a consistent quality through independent cerification by a third party certification body.
We follow strict guidelines to ensure our fire doorsets are manufactured in align with IFC certification scheme which involves auditing our processes, factories and supply chain to ensure of full compliance.
