Model 56 - Privacy Lever Handle

    • Operate same as Model 50 handle sets, however when the push button on the inside is pushed in ‘standard’ user operating cards or fobs will become invalid when presented to the reader.
    • In event of emergency management card/fob can be used to override this function and gain entry to the room.
    • Privacy handle sets are suitable for use on toilet doors especially where for security reasons the door is required to be kept locked when not in use.
    • Ideal for use on accommodation as they can be set so that the door does not automatically lock when it closes – when set in this mode on leaving the room the user must present their card or fob to the external reader to lock the door.
    • When returning to room, card/fob is presented to the reader to un-lock the door and this will remain un-locked until a card/fob is presented to the external reader or internal button is pushed in.

Model 51 - Security Lever Handle

    • Operate the same as the standard handle sets, however they have a thumb turn on the inside that operates a deadbolt for additional security.
    • On the inside the lock’s deadbolt is operated by the thumb turn, however when door is locked and lever handle depressed this retracts the latch and deadbolt and the door can be opened.
    • When deadbolt is thrown and door locked a ‘standard’ operating card/fob will show as invalid when presented to the reader and door will not open.
    • In the event of an emergency a management card/fob can be used to override this function and gain entry to the room.
