Disabled person's toilet system

This operating system has been designed specifically for automated disabled toilets, and includes touchless push pads, an electronic lock, and the automatic door operator.

Operation

Entry
Touch the entry sensor. The door opener will activate to provide access, or enter manually.

Lock
When inside the toilet, touch the internal sensor to lock the door. To confirm the door is locked, the red indicator on both sensors will flash, showing the toilet is engaged and inhibiting the entry sensor.

Exit
Touch the internal sensor once more and the indicator stops flashing. The door will be #UN#LOCKed and the door opener activated. The entry sensor stops flashing and becomes operable once again to provide access.

Touch sensors

The touch sensors require no physical pressure to operate, which makes them ideal for use by people with physical disabilities.
The signage design incorporates a static and flashing ultrabrite LED, whilst also providing a colour contrast, which makes them suitable for visually impaired people.
