NOVISTA RISER TIMBER

THE NOVISTA RISER DOORSET WITH A TIMBER DOOR LEAF HAS BEEN DEVELOPED TO HELP BLEND ACCESS AND RISER DOORS INTO THE ADJOINING WALL SO THAT THEY ARE VIRTUALLY INVISIBLE WITH NO ARCHITRAVE, AND THE DOOR FRAME CONCEALED WITHIN THE WALL.

The Novista timber riser option incorporates the same concealed frame section as its steel counterpart but uses a solid timber leaf. The solid leaf allows the use of different ironmongery styles to match the remainder of a building and also gives compliance to DD171 mechanical strength standards (Severe).

The timber leaf also allows more face finish options other than a primer or full PPC finish. The use of veneer, laminate or wallpaper facings further enhances the design possibilities within a space. The timber leaf is rated up to FD60 (fire) and 35dB (sound).

Configurations

The Novista Riser steel system is available as a single, double, or triple doorset, ensuring that the opening size can be maximised.

The doorsets are also available with a three-sided frame that has no threshold allowing easy uninterrupted access into rooms with no unsightly frame underneath the door.

Locking

The doors are locked using a mortice lock that is operated using either a square key or a europrofile cylinder, which provides additional security, and this can be integrated into a master key system if required.

Hanging

The Novista Riser Timber Doorsets are available with either standard or concealed hinges for FD30 and FD60 doorsets, and these are fixed into pre-prepared cutouts in the frame and door leaf.

Both the standard and concealed hinges allow the door leafs to open to 180 degrees.
