Internal Doorsets
Introduction
The Aspex Living Internal Doorset offers a wide range of products to complement and enhance any living space, from student accommodation to city living apartments or hotels.
The pre-hung factory assembled internal doorset is tested to BS8214 and is available in a range of sizes and finishes, with a large selection of ironmongery options to complete the doorset solution. Internal door closers are also available to complement your door.
Door
Our doors can be supplied with a solidcore construction for all levels of performance up to a severe duty rating.
If the product is not being used as an internal commercial door where fire performance is not a requirement and the doors are subject to light use, our hollowcore doors can be used. Our technical staff are available to advise on suitability should this apply to you.
The doors can be supplied in a range of bespoke or standard sizes.
The door is available in a range of attractive finishes, including real wood veneers, foils, and laminates, primed for on-site painting or a full factory paint finish to any RAL number.
Frame
The frame can be manufactured from MR MDF, softwood, or hardwood, and can be supplied as primed for on-site painting or in a factory finished polished/lacquered hardwood to match the timber veneer on the face of the door.
The frames are supplied with a factory fitted intumescent seal when fire rated, and a separate acoustic and smoke seal, which has a low resistance, ensuring compliance with opening force requirements.
Performance
Fire
The doorsets have been tested to BS 476 part 22 and are available as NFR, FD30 & FD60.
All fire rated doorsets are manufactured under the stringent BWF Certifire scheme.
Accoustic
When acoustic performance is a requirement, the internal doorsets can be supplied up to a rating of 32RwdB, complete with a factory fitted drop down seal.
Door Furniture
An extensive range of door furniture can be supplied to complement the internal door set, including standard round bar designs that are suitable for both apartment and student accommodation schemes.
Designer ranges specifically for hotel and apartment schemes are also available, including our own Integra Living Door furniture collection, together with manufacturers’ ranges including Valli Valli, Marriani, and Mandelli.
Locks & Latches
The selected locks, latches or bathroom locks are supplied pre-fitted into the door when it is delivered to site, with the face pre-drilled for the lever handle fixings.
Conventional locks and latches can be supplied. However, a new innovation has just been developed that utilises a magnetised strike plate and offers silent closing of the door. This means that an unsightly lip on the striking plate is not required. This is ideal for increasing the aesthetic appeal of the internal doorsets.
Pocket Doors
A full range of pocket door systems is available as part of the Integra Living Internal Doorsets range, and these offer an ideal space-saving solution.
Single and double door options can be provided with timber and glass doors, including a full-height architrave-free option.
A large range of standard sizes is available, and made to measure systems for doors up to 2000mm wide and almost 3000mm high, can be supplied.
The system is suitable for either 35 or 44mm thick door leafs weighing up to 80kg, and can be fitted into a wall with a finished thickness of 100 or 125mm.
The pocket door gear is supplied complete with an easy to assemble metal frame for fixing of the plasterboard, and a timber door frame complete with brush seals and architrave.
The guide system with a groove in the bottom of the door means that there is no floor channel.
An extensive range of flush pulls is available, including turns and releases for bathroom and en-suite doors.
Hanging
The doorsets are supplied with the door pre-hung in the frame on three hinges, or alternatively, our concealed adjustable hinge can be used, which is completely invisible when the door is closed.
Finishes
The Aspex Living range gives you the choice of putting your own individual style on the doorsets, to complement and enhance the living space for your project.
Our real wood veneers are available in a range of attractive ‘natural’ highly decorative finishes.
