Veneer
Door leafs are available with an extensive range of veneer facings, offering the warmth of natural timber with the benefits of fire and acoustic performance, but without the cost of solid timber.
The veneers we use are stitched together individually by experienced craftsmen to provide a perfect match, and with double doors and over panels these are book matched so that they blend perfectly with each other.
The veneer is cut from a log, and depending on the species and method of the cut, this will exhibit a differing combination of colour and grain formation.

Laminate
Doorsets are available with a laminate faced door leaf in a wide variety of either vibrant or neutral colours, or alternatively with a wood grain.
Laminate is also known as High Pressure Laminate, and is constructed from layers of paper impregnated with thermosetting synthetic resins that are fused together under heat and pressure. This produces a high performance decorative surface that is extremely hardwearing and easy to clean.
The laminates are available with either a smooth or textured surface, with either concealed or exposed hardwood lippings.
The laminates we use are manufactured by Formica or Polyrey, and a selection of the commonly used ones are shown below.

PVC
Doorsets are available with a PVC faced door leaf and frame in a wide variety of either vibrant or neutral colours, and these offer superior impact resistance and high resistance to a broad range of corrosive chemicals and cleaning solutions.
The PVC is inherently anti-bacterial and therefore a perfect choice for hospitals, laboratories, clean rooms, kitchens, and pharmaceutical establishments.
The PVC is available with either a smooth or textured surface, with either a concealed or exposed hardwood lipping, or alternatively, the PVC can be postformed around the edge of the door leaf. For further information on this, please follow this link.

THE DOOR LEAF AND FRAMES CAN BE SUPPLIED WITH A PRIMED FINISH, ALLOWING THEM TO BE PAINTED ON SITE. THE DOOR LEAF HAS A MEDIUM DENSITY OVERLAY APPLIED TO THE SURFACE. THIS IS VERY SMOOTH AND ENABLES A HIGH QUALITY FINISH TO BE ACHIEVED.
Alternatively, we can supply the door leaf and frame colour coated to an RAL colour of your choice.
