Aspex has secured two major projects in Leeds city centre. Aspex will be supplying a total of 800 of its Novista Riser Doorsets to St Albans, an 18-storey student accommodation, and Wellington Place, a new 22-acre urban quarter which will include mixed-use buildings of offices, residential, retail and leisure.
The projects both required a contemporary door finish to match the interior surroundings. Aspex has pioneered the technique to factory apply 2 pac primer to the riser doors, enabling the use of regular emulsion to achieve perfect colour matching. This special primer is textured to allow emulsion to key into the primer giving a scratch-resistant surface.
Ashley Burberry, Managing Director of Aspex UK, said: “We are delighted to be supplying our doorsets to these prestigious projects in Leeds. The Novista Riser Doorsets have really taken off in the market and specifiers are seeing the real benefits of investing in minimalistic doorsets.
“Regardless of whether it’s a student scheme or a commercial development, the doorsets provide a contemporary solution to perfectly blend into any interior surrounding.”
