Aspex is pleased to announce it has won a contract to supply its doorsets to Chelsea Barracks, a luxurious residential development in Westminster.

Aspex will be supplying Novista Riser Timber Doorsets to the £3 billion development, which will include a range of townhouses and penthouses.

The Novista Riser, with a timber door leaf, has been developed to help blend access and riser doors into the adjoining wall so that they are virtually invisible with no architrave, and the door frame is concealed within the wall – an ideal solution for this development as the doorsets are being installed within the living areas.

The Novista Riser Timber has a solid timber core, and has been tested to both FD30 and FD60 fire safety standards and is acoustic rated to 35dB. As well as the four-sided frame that is installed raised above the floor level, this system is also available with a standard three-sided frame, which can be used for doors such as cleaners’ cupboards and stores, allowing them to also blend into the wall.

Aspex is delighted to be supplying its door risers to such an exciting project, which will help create a minimalistic and contemporary look and feel which will blend into the surroundings.
